VitalDETOX combines extracts from Milk Thistle, Artichoke, Boldo and other traditional herbs which are renowned for eliminating toxins from the body.

Ingredients

Agave juice, extracts of; Artichoke leaves, Milk thistle fruit, Centinodium areal parts, Dandelion root, Boldo leaves, Papaya fruit, Berber rind, Radish root, Rosemary leaves, Agrimony bloomed tops.

Artichoke has liver cleansing properties thanks to its phytonutrients: Cynarin, an antioxidant that helps the liver produce bile (essential for digesting fat and expelling toxins from the body) and Silymarin, a flavonoid that protects liver cells and cell membranes and raise the level of glutathione in the body.

Silymarin is also found in Milk Thistle which has proven antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and has been traditionally used for detoxification and to promote liver and gallbladder health. It is most well-known for being a powerful, natural supporter of liver health and is sometimes used for liver diseases such as cirrhosis, jaundice and hepatitis, as well as gallbladder problems.

Centinodium has traditionally been used to treat the symptoms of the common cold including congestion and coughs. It is supposed to have natural expectorant properties as well as anti-inflammatory actions that can help free mucus from the system and help people breathe more easily. The high content of Knotgrass silica and flavonoids are known to improve the health of the bloods vessels.

Dandelion is a traditional blood-cleansing herb known to help regulate blood sugar and remove toxins from the liver.

A note about Fatty Liver Disease

Dietary excesses such as a high carbohydrate diet, too much alcohol and/or fatty food put an enormous strain on the liver preventing it from working properly. Over time a condition known as “fatty liver” may develop.

A fatty liver is one that is invaded with fat and very common in overweight people over 30 and those who drink excessively. It is the most common cause of abnormal liver function tests and may lead to more serious liver disease.

Fatty liver disease often presents no obvious symptoms, especially in the beginning, but as the disease advances over a period of years the person may experience chronic fatigue, nausea, confusion and impaired judgement.

A fatty liver can be reversed with VitalDETOX and dietary changes, but recovery will take between 3-6 months.
